    Going above and beyond

Its conveniently located right off the exit of the Ballard side of the locks.  We had a great experience when our group of 7 was there.  Our server, I think his name was Daniel, was very friendly and helpful (Sorry if I got your name wrong). We were a bigger group but he was patient, informative, quick and very professional.   Our food was great and the service was quick and excellent.  We all started with the chowder which was very flavorful and satisfying and we all were very happy with our entrees (salmon, fish and chips, clam strips, burger).  The restaurant had a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere.  We were very happy after our visit but the best part came after.  We didn't even realize that my son dropped his wallet somewhere at the restaurant.  They found it and the good people that they are, reported it to AAA who called us. We had left the Seattle area by then but they were so kind to mail it to us, everything intact.  Everybody, go to Lockspot Cafe, for the food, the people, the experience.  Thank you very much Lockspot cafe and the good people working there.  Wish we knew the name/s of the people who helped us so much.  Take care.

The place is very right by the park. For the location it is very convenient for snacks right after seeing the Ballard Locks. The prices were a little high and the portions were slightly small. We got the senior special to share because of my dad but even with the senior discount.

It's a convenient location. The one thing was everything was fried right when you order including the fries, so everything is hot.

If your looking for a quick bite it is a cute little place but the menu is very limited

    Great location and friendly staff!

I was craving fish and my boyfriend has always wanted to try this place so it was a perfect match :)

We started with the clam dip ($12) and HALLELUJAH it was amazing! I wasn't convinced when Brandon ordered it but it was creamy and clamy and delicious! I cannot say enough good things about the hand-cut, fresh from the fryer potato chips that came with it. By far the best I've ever had.

We both got the classic fish n chips ($14) and it did not disappoint. Batter is crispy without being too thick and the fish was juicy and fresh. The fish itself was a little too mild (used lemon to kick up the flavor) for my craving so next time I'll go with the Halibut.

This is a no frills restaurant so don't come expecting outlandish fancy meals. The menu is simple and straight up so you get what you order. The fries aren't very good- they took away from the main event instead of adding to it.

Service was attentive and friendly and I really loved that we could sit outside. Only con of that was there was something between 'a few' and 'a swarm' of flies that gathered near the door to go inside. Not very pleasant for our table.

Dive bar feel with good variety on the menu- but how can you come for the first time and *not* get the classic?! Convenient location- so easy it's a wonder we haven't stopped by before.

    Will definitely be back!

Food was ok.  We were more than hungry after touring Ballard locks.  This place was conveniently located just outside the locks.  We were able to grab a quick bite.  Nothing to write home about. Device was good.

Friend and I finally had a chance to check this spot out. The place itself is super cute.. although I paid $12 for chicken strips and fries ( only to find out I had two small pieces of chicken and the fries tasted like they were frozen.
My roommate got a $9 burger with no cheese, to find out she just got a slab of beef and a ton of onions on it. As far as the food goes, not really the best quality
